THE ICPC
MASTERPLAN
A complete roadmap from beginner to World Finals
The Journey Map
Your path from local college selection to the global stage in Dubai.
College-Level Preparation
Internal selection, coding club practice — not official ICPC, but how most Indian teams form. This is self-organized within your institution, no official entry needed.
Contact Us for assistance in conducting competitions at your institution.
India Online Preliminary
A shared online round (~2–3 hrs, Codeforces-style) common to all three Indian regional sites. Top overall teams + typically the best team per institute per site's quota advance.
Onsite Regional Contest
A 5-hour onsite contest at one of India's 3 sites (Kanpur, Amritapuri, Chennai) following full World Finals rules. The #1 team per site earns a direct World Finals berth. A team can participate in 2 regionals. The registration for regions has to be made before the prelims.
Asia West Continent Finals
Site champions plus other top-ranked teams from across Asia West (India, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan) compete. Site champions are required to attend; slot allocation for others varies.
ICPC World Finals 2026
The global final — ~135–140 teams from around the world, 5-hour contest, one shared computer per team. The 2026 edition is in Dubai, UAE. Top 15 proceed for Finals
